Your Relationship with Food

It's not just what you eat. It's how you eat, too.

Do you find yourself eating when you're not hungry, struggling to stop when you're full, or feeling caught in a cycle of restriction, cravings and overeating?

Our relationship with food can be complicated. Stress, emotions, habits, past dieting experiences and the pressures of everyday life can all influence when, why and how we eat.

As an Eating Psychology Coach, Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach, I bring these different approaches together to help you develop a more positive, relaxed relationship with food.

Understanding your eating patterns

Together, we might explore:

  • Emotional eating: Understanding the connection between food, stress, emotions and everyday challenges.
  • Overeating and binge eating: Exploring triggers and developing practical strategies to help you respond differently.
  • Eating rhythm: Looking at when and how often you eat, and how this influences hunger, energy and cravings.
  • Mindful eating: Learning to recognise hunger and fullness signals, slow down and feel more connected to your body's needs.
  • Restrictive dieting: Moving away from rigid food rules, guilt and the all-or-nothing approach to eating.
  • Health coaching techniques: Building awareness, confidence and sustainable changes that fit into your life.

Making peace with food

Using practical tools drawn from eating psychology and health coaching, I'll help you understand your behaviours, identify patterns and develop new ways of responding to food.

The aim isn't perfect eating. It's to help you feel more confident, more in control of your choices and more comfortable around food — without guilt or constant self-criticism.
